<p>After seeing Brainless in Seattle, Part 1, I must say that Blaine isn't in the gray area when it comes to good or bad individuals that help the good guys every now and then. He's just a bad guy that deserves to be put down for his narcissistic actions.
</p><p>How long do you suppose it'll be before someone takes him out?

<p>Maybe soon...as his partner Don E also ate the brains that made you tell compulsive truth. If he blabs to the wrong people Blaine has the zombie cure...well, I can see people not being too pleased.
</p><p>I imagine Chase Graves would love to find a cure for zombisim, so he does not have to worry about feeding the masses,

<p>Hm, Blaine's up there with Ravi, Chase, Mr. Boss and Clive as one of my fave characters. Hope he sticks around until the end of the series. ;)

<p>I hope it's clear I'm just messing around. While he is one of my favorite characters, I also understand how dark he is and you have a valid reason to not like him. I, too, liked Renegade.
</p><p>The only thing I wish would happen would be that he is able to feed Angus the dementia-laced brain of his grandfather. They kinda dropped that idea in Season 2 and it would be interesting if they could bring it back for resolution.

Can we even be certain that such a brain would still be salvageable if it's been over a season since it was mentioned? </p><p>I don't really know much of anything about brains beyond the fact that traditional zombies hunger for them and they contain the aspects of people that give them personality and memory, but they're just like food that needs to be refrigerated: They're perishable; they rot if left out and go bad if left in the freezer for too long. </p><p>Also, yes, I know you're only messing around. </p>

<p>Doing some research, I checked out various foods.
</p><p>Uncooked roasts, steaks and chops will go bad after a year in the freezer.
</p><p>Properly stored, shrimp will maintain best quality for about 3 to 6 months, but will remain safe beyond that time. The freezer time shown is for best quality only - shrimp that has been kept constantly frozen at 0°F will keep safe indefinitely.
</p><p>And according to a researcher at Michigan State University, brain slices stored in cryo. at 4C degrees that are over 5 years old and are just fine. It is best to keep them in cryo at -20C however and they will last indefinitely. The researcher has used some stored this way for 10 + years with no problems.
