<p>Why wouldn't you want to be a zombie (well, this kind)? But apart from the debatable awesomeness factor, it's the fact that those humans are suffering from diseases that they don't find or can't afford a cure for otherwise. As a zombie, they get immune to whatever else they were struggling with. You'd still have to consider the obvious downside of people that unconditionally hate zombies, but I think it's balanced by those who care for them, or, like Fillmore-Graves, work towards a peaceful environment for both zombies and humans.
