I doubt that honestly. Since these are two quite different types of 'Zombie'. Romero zombies turn brain dead mindless shamblers right after turning, rather than keeping their mental faculties, only declining after quite some time if no cranial matter is consumed. Therefore due to the pretty major differences in biology here, I highly, highly doubt it.
