Ernie is a minor character who first appeared in the Season 4 episode Blue Bloody. He is portrayed by Cameron McDonald.
Season 4[]
Ernie is the gardener who works for the wealthy dowager, Sandy Brinks. He takes great pride in his work and tries his best to keep the gardens ordered and free of pests at the Brinks Mansion.
To better protect the gardens from gophers, he builds a high powered Golf Ball Gun. Despite all of his efforts, his garden and he were constantly belittled by Mrs. Brinks.
Ernie is also friendly with the other staff members and shows them loyalty; along with Carlton Clerg he offers up money to help get the chef's young son, Alex, out of New Seattle.
