Major Lilywhites search for the Candy Man finally brings him to the butcher shop, where he discovers who is behind it and what is done there in the backroom. He gets caught and imprisoned in the cold-storage room until he can escape with a trick. But he returns to kill every employee on site. Before he can get away, Blaine shows up and kills Major in return. Liv arrives too late to save her ex-boyfriend's life with conventional methods, so she decides to turn him into a zombie and administer untested the Zombie Cure to Blaine in revenge.
The place is burned down by Lieutenant Suzuki, who writes Blaine's name on the wall in blood and dies in the fire thereafter, while Liv's brother, Evan, whose first day as an intern it is, gets seriously hurt and has to be brought to a hospital.
