iZombie was renewed for a fifth season by The CW on May 11, 2018.[3] It premiered on May 2, 2019 and concluded on August 1, 2019. On September 27, 2018, Bryce Hodgson was promoted to being a series regular for the final season. [4]
Synopsis
Things in New Seattle are growing increasingly more chaotic. Zombie supremacists are emerging along with the Dead Ender humans. As a result, it's a struggle for Fillmore-Graves to maintain order, as even zombies in their group are starting to turn. In turn, Blaine is starting to lose control of his operations and his sanity.
However, not all hope is lost. Ravi learns in secret from his laison with the CDC that cure is possible for zombism; however, the cost is too great (morally, not practically). Liv also learns of a secret about her family that has been kept from her.
